Near Orlando, Florida, there is a Holocaust museum called, “the Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center”. In early November, they opened a new exhibit named “Uprooting Prejudice: Faces of Change”. It features George Floyd and photos of emotional African Americans expressing their “fear” of the “social injustice” in today’s society.
Some who may not know, George Floyd was an African American man who was murdered by a police officer after being restrained back in May 2020. After the tragic incident, it led to many horrible riots, protests, looting, violence, and even death by the black lives matter organization and Antifa. BLM raised 10 billion dollars ever since his death but I don’t think one cent has been given to the black communities.
George Floyd exhibition in Florida's Holocaust museum sparks outrage
Mainly, the Jewish community was offended because they felt that the museum made it seem like George Floyd’s death was aligned with the genocide of 6 million Jews who died.
Later in the video, the Jewish man stated, “Not every tragedy is a holocaust…nor the holocaust should be compared to far less tragedies…”
Even though George Floyd’s death was indeed tragic, it is an insult to the memory of what occurred in the Holocaust. The world thinks of George Floyd as a martyr even though he had a criminal record and was an active drug user. In his past, he held a pregnant lady at gunpoint while his friends were robbing her house. Apparently, America is living in an upside-down world.
